Free tax $ for New Buyers and Previous Buyers…learn more!!

As many anticipated, the 1st-time homebuyer tax credit was extended, but there’s a new twist…buyers who have lived in their home for at least 5 out of the last 8 years are also eligible for a credit.

1st-time buyers can still receive the $8000 tax credit (that doesn’t need to be repaid unless they sell their home within 3 years). These buyers just need to be under contract by April 30, 2010 and settled by June 30, 2010.

As for those homeowners that bought their house five or more years ago, and have lived there for at least five of the last eight years are eligible for a $6500 credit…and they don’t even have to sell their current home!!!

Please contact me for more information and/or a chart outlining the credits…this might be the right time for you to finally make that move!! www.carolsmdhomes.com or csnyder@cbmove.com

Do You Want $8000?

Do You Want $8000? …Time is running out!

By now almost every American is aware that the government is offering an $8000 tax credit for first-time homebuyers. So, the real question is, “do you want your $8000?” There are several guidelines that buyers’ must meet to qualify for the current tax credit, the specifics can be accessed at, www.federalhousingtaxcredit.com, but what’s most crucial now is that buyers must settle on their purchase by November 31, 2009. So realistically, first-time homebuyers, meaning those who have not owned a property within the last three years, should be under contract on a property by the middle-end of September!

If you or anyone you know is interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, don’t hesitate to contact me!
